David Nash at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park

I was back in Yorkshire for a couple of days and fortunately found some free time to spend at the sculpture park, where I ran into David Nash.

It’s brilliant, you should go now. Go

According to Annie Proulx (in the Guardian): “In his hands wood seems fabric, as malleable as gold, black as Indian hair, a carbuncled lump. Trees are sliced and inclined, chunks needled, paginated, riddled, elbowed, pierced, incised, long bolts frittered and hollowed, geometrics waffled.”
