This page tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply any of the Goods listed on our Site to you. You should read these terms and conditions carefully before making an order. Please note that by making an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
Eva London is a trading name of Eva(GB) Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered number is 05756854. Our VAT number is GB997133284.
We may change these Terms of Use at any time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to review these terms to ensure you are happy with any changes. Should the Terms of Use change while we are processing an order the Terms at the time the order was submitted apply except where changes are required by law. Using or accessing this Website indicates your acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these Terms of Use, please do not continue to use this Website.
ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE
To place an order on this Site you will be required to provide your personal details. These details include your real name, phone number, e-mail address and other information as indicated. Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing information provided.
Where products are exclusively for graduates of a specific university an order may be subject to verification in accordance with that university’s policy. This may be by confirmation of university email, graduation year or other information as indicated. Eva London reserves the right to cancel an order where such a status cannot be verified.
ORDERS AND PRODUCTION
You will receive electronic confirmation of your order as soon as it has been received. If you have any questions about your order please don't hesitate to contact customer services by emailing orders (@) evalondon.com or calling us on +44 (0)207 148 7060.
EVA LONDON maintain records of all transactions for a minimum of one year. Where a product has been custom-made or personalised this record is maintained indefinitely and is limited to customer name, order details and contact details at time of the original order. (We do not keep credit card or bank details on our system at any time. See PAYMENT for more details.)
Your ring is individually made for you and then sent to the Assay Office to be hallmarked. Estimated production and hallmarking time is 6-10 weeks from the date of ordering.
Eva London takes reasonable care to complete custom-made products within this time period, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any delay beyond this period. In any case of delay the customer will be kept fully informed. In such cases we will endeavour to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction.
It is sometimes possible for Eva London to meet a customer’s request that a custom-made order be completed by a specific date. Where we agree to this, we do so in the acknowledgement that we would not do so if it were to impact upon normal production processes and only agree to make a reasonable effort to meet such a request. An agreement on our part to work to a specific date of completion is never a guarantee that we will complete a custom-made order by that date. (Note “Collect at Graduation” exception.)
PRICING POLICY
All prices displayed on the site are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are happy to accept purchases from overseas and can ship worldwide. Note that your card company will charge you for the purchases you make in your local currency at that date's exchange rate. Any local charges are your responsibility.
TAX CHARGES
All orders made from the UK or the European Union are inclusive of 20% VAT. For orders from other countries we do not charge tax but you may be liable to pay tax and duties when the goods enter your country.
PAYMENT
Eva London welcomes payment via debit/credit cards of the following types: Visa, Visa Electron, Switch, Solo, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro.
You can also pay by bank transfer. At the end of the order process, select the "Click here to pay by Bank Transfer' option and you will be taken to the transfer details page where you will be given the relevant information to make the transfer. Please bear in mind that bank transfers can take a few days to be credited. To pay by PayPal, please select this option when checking out. Please note that PayPal cannot be used as a payment method if you do not intend to pay in full at point of order. You can use this option to pay in a couple of clicks without entering card or bank account details, and your delivery address. Please note that to use this option, the payment for your order will be processed in full on ordering. To take advantage of any of our payment plans please pay by one of our other methods (debit/credit card, bank transfer, cheque). PAYMENT SECURITY
All credit card details and transactions are cleared using SagePay, a secure online payment gateway.
POSTAGE AND PACKING
Postage and packing within the UK costs £7, to other EU countries £9, and elsewhere £12. Your ring will be shipped via Royal Mail with priority handling and insurance. A signature will be required on receipt. Royal Mail's delivery times are dependent on location and are as follows: Within UK - next day delivery, guaranteed by 1pm. Estimated delivery times for international deliveries are as follows: Western Europe - within 3 working days Eastern Europe - within 4 working days Rest of world - within 7 working days
Eva London is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
COLLECT AT GRADUATION
Collect at Graduation offers are run subject to the following:
To qualify for a Collect at Graduation a full and complete order (including finger size) must be submitted on or before the deadline. All participant orders in any Collect at Graduation offer are guaranteed for collection on the day of graduation. Day of graduation here means the official day(s) of graduation in accordance with the University’s ceremonies office (or other similar office). We will use best endeavours to fulfil such orders, but there may be occasions where this has not been possible. In such cases we will contact you to make other arrangements and Eva London will incur any reasonable extra costs.
Where an order has been designated Collect at Graduation but is not collected Eva London to charge its standard postage and packing rate.
SATISFACTION
We do our best to ensure that all of our descriptions and pictures describe these made-to-order items as accurately as possible. Since our rings are individually handcrafted, each one is unique and as such may vary slightly from the images shown. All stated dimensions are approximations only. All rings are made to your specifications indicated on order. We cannot be held responsible for errors made by the customer when entering their order details online so please check these details carefully as you enter your order. You can also double check these details via the automatic order confirmation you receive via email on ordering. If in any doubt, please do not hesitate to contact us to check your order details.
We cannot be held responsible for your ring not fitting due to your mis-sizing of your finger. If you would like your ring resized, please contact us for a quote. If you are at all unhappy with your purchase or our service, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to rectify the situation.
YOUR RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
You have up to three working days from the date of ordering to cancel your order without charge. After this grace period, as the goods are made-to-order and personalised to your specifications, cancelling your order may no longer be possible and, where possible, could incur charges.
PRIVACY
We do not under any circumstances disclose customer details to any third parties, except where necessary in fulfilment of your order.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Eva London will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Website.
Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of Eva London and their employees or agents.
THIRD PARTIES
We may link to other websites which are not within our control. We do not control such Websites and we take no responsibility for, and will not incur any liability in respect of their content. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such Websites does not imply any endorsement of views, statements or information contained in such Websites.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England and any user of the Site hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.
